Luis + Danielle

Luis and Danielle were married at the Major's Inn in Gilbertsville. Their wedding had a theme...time. From the clock hanging over them during their ceremony, to the pin she wore on her sash, "time" imagery was everywhere! I had to ask her the reason for this, and she told me the story of how she and Luis met. Her cousin had been trying to set them up together for a year, and Luis was being stubborn about the idea. Finally, he agreed, but he wanted to see her first. So he parked outside of the building where Danielle worked. When she left at 3:10 he saw her for the first time. Luis had been having recurring dreams of a woman with curly hair, but he could never make out her face. That night, when he dreamed of the woman again, she had Danielle's face, and he knew she would be in his life from that point on. By their second date, Danielle knew they would be married. They fell in love and knew they would be spending the rest of their lives together in ten days. Danielle explained to me how it was such a short amount of time, but it seemed to stand still. Hence, the theme of time in the wedding. All of the clocks said 3:10, the time when Luis first saw her. They had thyme plants for decor on the mantelpieces, and the pizza that was served at the reception was even cut into twelve slices to resemble a clock! I had a great time working with them and capturing their big day. Congratulations, Danielle and Luis!

The heart charm was a gift from Luis.

The clock pin was Danielle's "something borrowed" from her mother.

Time for the first look!

After the first look, we headed to Lovers Lane for a few photos.

So, funny story; we're on the bridge, (which was very narrow) and a car came by, so Danielle took off running! It ended being a car full of their wedding guests.
