Josh + Jessica

Josh and Jessica met on Instagram. (She realized later that they were already friends on Facebook because Jessica had gone to school and was friends with his sister!)  She commented on one of his pictures, and he messaged back, and that was how it began! Their first official date was at the Lava Nightclub at Turning Stone Casino. She had seen on Facebook that he was going, and then messaged to say she was going to meet him there. He waited for an hour, but she made it, and the rest is history! Josh and Jessica had been meaning to get married for years. A couple of years of trying to work around other weddings, and then of course I don't need to mention why 2020 was a bad year for weddings...so I got a call in July. For their wedding in August! They had decided to go for it and planned a wedding in about a month! I was happy that I had the date open, as I had photographed her brother's wedding a few years ago, and I love working with families again! I think they did a pretty dang good job of making everything come together. They were married in an intimate ceremony at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Rome. Jessica's brother Randy officiated, amid happy tears and laughter. Love and joy were in abundance that day! After the ceremony, Jessica had told me they wanted to do their formals at the beaches. So I was like, "I didn't know Rome had beaches, but whatever...maybe there's a lake or something..." So when Rome's beaches didn't come up on my GPS, I followed them in their car to...The Beeches! I had to laugh at myself for that one. After the photos, we headed back to the reception at the Toccolana Club. Guests were treated to a delicious dinner catered by Josh's parents and enjoyed taking silly pictures in Big Guys Photobooth and dancing into the night. Felix and I had a wonderful time capturing your memories, Jessica and Josh. Congratulations!

Yellow is Jessica's favorite color and blue is Josh's so it was incorporated into much of the wedding details.

I just love moments like these!

I just really love this photo some reason. I love "behind the scenes" shots!

There's always a point in the night where it's just time to take off the shoes!
Congratulations, Jessica and Josh!
