Jackie and Darcy

I've had the pleasure of knowing Darcy for quite a few years now; he and my husband are cousins. Darcy and Jackie are both incredibly talented musicians and I've seen them perform a number of times. While a pot of butternut squash soup simmered on the stove, we ventured outdoors into the gorgeous golden light for some engagement photographs. These two were naturals in front of the camera, and they even played me some songs. It's not everyday you get to hear live music while you work! After the pictures, Darcy and Jackie treated my family and I to dinner; the aforementioned soup and some salad and berries fresh from their garden. I can't wait to photograph their wedding in August!
