Jason and Rachel's Magnificent Maple Shade Wedding--Part 1

Back in early 2013, I was setting up my table at the Foothills Wedding Expo in Oneonta when I noticed across from me the table for Maple Shade Farm  in Delhi. I wandered on over for a look and hoped with all my might that I would be asked to photograph a wedding there. Fast forward two weeks...I received an e-mail from Rachel asking me about my services for her wedding at Maple Shade Farm. It probably goes without saying that I was super excited, especially when I got to meet Rachel and Jason and realized how awesome they were and how awesome their wedding was going to be. I arrived a little early and had time to photograph some of the Maple Shade sights before the action of the day began.

When everyone arrived, we placed Jason and the boys in the shade of some apple trees and waited for Rachel to surprise him with his first look.

After the two saw each other for the time, we left to do some formals, (which I will share in the next post) and then it was time for the ceremony.
