Darcy and Jackie
Darcy and Jackie had an amazing, lively, and musical wedding day, and after knowing them for as long as I have, this was not a surprise to me at all. I've seen them both perform a number of times at the Oneonta Theater with the Justice League so I can attest to their musical prowess! Not only are they talented musicians, but many of their closest friends and family are as well, which led to an evening full of live music performed by whoever wanted to play or sing! Some of the highlights included Darcy being Rick-rolled by his brother and friends, an impromptu performance of "Wheels on the Bus" for an adorable little girl who was queen of the dance floor, and some awesome trombone skills displayed by Jackie's brother. Funny toasts, fantastic food, and dynamic moves on the dance-floor all contributed to make this evening wonderful, and I can truly say that a good time was had by all! Congratulations, Darcy and Jackie!
I always love beautiful wedding details, like the stunning lace on the back of Jackie's dress, and her handpicked bouquet of wildflowers.
Jackie's grandmother made this lovely and elegant wedding cake for them; I love the details like the treble clefs and the sugar bells!
Hand-made party decorations and wedding favors added a personal and vibrant touch to the night!
And a special note to Jackie from her mother sewn into her gown--so beautiful!
These little bunnies were Jackie's when she was little and her mother surprised her with them at the reception.
Now I can say that I've seen a bride play the ukulele on her wedding day!
