Mike + Emily
I'm going to introduce you to Emily...
And Mike.
Ok, so I haven't shown you their faces yet, but that's only because I want to build the suspense and tease you with the lovely details before you get to see the too-cute-for-words newlyweds!
Two words: THOSE. SHOES.
The wedding took place at Emily's grandparents farm and I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful it was. You'll have to see for yourselves.
Ok, NOW you can see Mike and Emily while they get prettied up for the big moment!
So, favorite wedding moment ever: Emily asks her bridesmaids to sing her a Disney song while she's getting ready. It's quiet for a second, and then I hear..."Lets get down to business...to defeat, the Huns." In other words, the "I'll Make a Man out of You" song from Mulan. I couldn't even hold it together. In all fairness, they did follow it up with "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid.
Passing the torch...Emily's grandfather actually ran with the Olympic torch in 2000!
Time for a wedding!
Emily and Mike had guests and family members tie a knot in the strands beforehand, which they then braided together during the ceremony.
A few more photos, then it's time to party!
Emily put together the Beauty and the Beast themed centerpieces.
She also made her own brooch bouquet, which included brooches that guests gave as gifts at her bridal shower.
Mike and Emily performed a fantastic choreographed dance number set to "Love Is an Open Door" from Frozen.
Mike wasn't lying when he told me the dancing would go all the way to the end of the night!
Time for a Journey moment..."Don't stop belieeeeeeevin'.....!"
I had so much fun photographing your wedding, Mike and Emily! Congratulations!
