Nathan + Krystal

2016 was an amazing year for me. I had my busiest wedding season yet, got to meet so many awesome people, worked at some new locations, and I finally got to photograph my first winter wedding! The occasion of a winter wedding is probably one of the only times people actually wish for snow; it makes such a beautiful backdrop! Nathan and Krystal were married inside Magro's Banquet Hall, but they, along with their friends and family, braved the outdoors for some snowy formal photos. The banquet hall looked lovely decorated for Christmas, and Nathan's Aunt Lori made the gorgeous sparkling centerpieces that graced the tables. Krystal and Nathan were absolute sweethearts to work with, and I enjoyed photographing all of the guests' antics on the dance floor. During one sweet moment that brought a tear to my eye, Nathan's grandmother danced with each of her children, and then ended with Nathan. Another favorite moment of mine was when Nathan cut into a dance between one of his groomsmen and Krystal, only to dance with his groomsman instead. And who could forget the guys dancing to Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff?" I had fun the entire evening; thanks, Krystal and Nathan, for letting me be a part of your day!
