David + Liz

True story... about two years ago, I photographed Eric and Stacy's wedding in Lafayette. They were a super fun group and you could tell everyone was having a blast on the dance floor. But one guy stood out while I was editing the photos. He was a dancing machine and he looked like so much fun that I literally thought to myself  "I would love to photograph that guy's wedding," not even knowing if he was already married or even engaged. A few photos later, I noticed a picture of him that my daughter had taken standing with a woman, and again, I thought to myself,  "He's even got a beautiful girlfriend!" Flash forward a few months: I heard from Stacy and she told me her nephew would be contacting me about a wedding, and lo and behold, it was the dancing guy and his girlfriend! Needless to say, I was super excited to be working with David and Liz. We had an awesome engagement session last year at the sunflower maze in Camillus and I knew their wedding would just as much fun. Before the ceremony, Liz and David got ready at the Vernon Downs Hotel, which had an amazing view of the racetrack below. We took a few photos there, and then headed over to the Dibble's Inn in Vernon. The ceremony was at the Creekside Pavilion, and as the golden sunlight filtered through the trees, David and Liz exchanged vows. They had huge smiles the whole time; in fact, they had huge smiles the entire day! After some formals, the reception was held in the stunning Silver Garden Room, and the dancing commenced! Marisa and I had a great time and I was honored to be a part of your day. Congratulations, Liz and David!
