Nate + Mindy

Nate and Mindy were married in early July at the edge of a field under a beautiful willow tree on her grandparents' land. Everybody got ready at her grandparents' home on a family farm in Deposit; I had driven past this place so many times and never thought I'd be photographing a wedding there! I enjoyed roaming and taking pics of the property itself beforehand. The day started out bright and sunny, but wouldn't you know it, the clouds blew in and it started pouring while Mindy was getting her hair and makeup done. We had about an hour to go before the ceremony and we kept saying "It will blow over and everything will be fine." Well, we kept saying that and saying that. And about 15 minutes before go-time, it did stop. We were all so thankful that we got to stick with the original plan and have the outdoor ceremony.  I loved being able to incorporate the family farm into some of the formals; it added such a nice personal touch. The reception was fun with children running everywhere, getting cake all over their faces, and playing games while the guests danced to the beats of Jwall Tunes Mobile DJ &; Karoke Service. The food was delicious, prepared by Brooks House of BBQ (always a favorite of mine). I had a great time photographing your wedding, Nate and Mindy. Congratulations!
