Ethan + Lucy

Ethan and Lucy's wedding was everything a Fall wedding should be. A light drizzle saturated the leaves, giving everything a deep rich hue, but the rain wasn't heavy enough to dissuade us from outdoor portraits. This was my first wedding at the Lakeview Events Center in Laurens, and I absolutely loved it. Not only was there a lovely lake framed by vibrant Fall foliage, but there was an old playground that we were able to use for some fun group shots. Lucy and Ethan were a delight to work with and were nothing but smiles all day. I'm not sure I've worked with a more cheerful group of people; friends, family and guests included. I had such a blast photographing the reception, everyone was having so much fun! While they did have a wedding cake, Ethan and Lucy chose to have a "pig cutting" instead. The roast pig, prepared by Flying Pig Roast was so delicious, and I loved the selection of barbecue sauces to choose from. Later the night, the dance floor was packed with dancers, but my favorite moment was when the DJ started playing the Baby Shark dance mix  and everyone went nuts!  The day was perfect and I'm so happy that I got to capture it and enjoy the party with everyone. Congratulations, Lucy and Ethan!

The beautiful cake was made by Lucy and Ethan's friend, Emily Hayward.
