Mike + Jenalyn

Last November, I had the pleasure of photographing Mike and Jenalyn's wedding. They were married at the Sherburne United Methodist Church. I was in love with the soft, dreamy lighting coming through the gorgeous stained glass windows. The addition of twinkling lights made it a magical place for a wedding. Jenalyn is from the Phillipines, and her family could not be with her on her wedding day, but there were ways that they were present. Her Aunt custom-made her beautiful wedding dress and veil for her. On her bouquet, she incorporated pictures of her parents, Ramon and Erlinda Lagat, and she was able to face-time with them throughout the day so they could at least be with her in spirit! Mike's family did an amazing job of pulling everything together to make a wonderful day for both of them, with Mike's sister, Michelle acting as wedding planner. After the ceremony, we took some pictures in the church, and then we braved the cold to take a few pictures outside before the reception. There was a small park next to the Sherburne Public Library, and we also used the library itself for a few shots! Afterwards, we warmed up at the reception at 19 North Main and finished the night with delicious food, good music, and lots of dancing! What a wonderful night, full of love and happiness! Congratulations, Mike and Jenalyn!
