Ryan + Hope

Hope and Ryan met each other in 2013 when they began working together. On their first date at the Buffalo Head, Ryan had a chicken Ceasar salad, and Hope had steak and potatoes! After having a wonderful time at dinner, Ryan drove Hope around Utica for a "tour", but they really just wanted to spend more time together. Throughout the years, they have had many adventures and experiences, ultimately leading to a proposal in front of the Rockefeller Christmas tree! Last year in October, I learned of their love of comics and Harry Potter during their engagement session at Massoud's Tree Farm. In their words, "Ryan has introduced Hope to the worlds of Diablo III and Marvel, and Hope has indoctrinated Ryan into the wizarding world of Harry Potter." Both of them are absolutely charming people that were a pleasure to work with, and after a postponement due to Covid, they were finally married at SKY Armory (one of my favorite wedding venues ever!). Congratulations to you both, Hope and Ryan! It was a pleasure working with you and your families!

Before the ceremony, Hope had a first look with her father.

Felix and I arrived early at Sky Armory and had plenty of time to photograph the gorgeous details set up for their reception brunch.

That moment when you can't find the ring! Luckily, Hope's brother did indeed have it on him!

Hope and Ryan wanted me to document their special handshake!
