Aaron + Gelsomina : Wedding at Robert H. Treman Park in Ithaca
Aaron and Gelsomina have known each other since third grade when he moved to her hometown. They went to the same school but didn't really connect until years later. They were friends for a while, and even dated briefly in ninth grade, but the timing just wasn't quite right then. They stayed friends, and in eleventh grade, they dated again and have been together ever since! They lived right down the road from each other so they saw one another frequently. They love camping and hiking and have hiked numerous mountains together, so it was fitting when he proposed at sunrise in August 2021 while on a camping trip in Maine! They chose the beautiful Robert H. Treman State Park in Ithaca as their wedding venue, which is also fitting as it a wonderful testament to the beauty of nature with it's waterfalls and gorges. Aaron and Gelsie's families really came together to make this such a special day. The flowers were put together by Gelsie and Aaron's mother, Sarah. Gelsie's oldest brother, Armand, was the officiant (and he had the coolest pair of shoes I've ever seen an officiant wear!). Her other brother, Domenick, was the DJ. And in addition to DJ duties, he and his wife, Emily, also stayed up until 4AM the night before putting together and painting the wedding arch as a surprise! Felix and I had a great time working with Aaron and Gelsomina. Their families were both so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. We wish both of you a huge congratulations!
