Naethan's Birthday Party

On July 18th, my daughter and I took a trip to my hometown of Solvay, New York, to attend my nephew Naethan's 3rd birthday party. This is the first time I've actually been able to make it up for his birthday, so it was important to me that I go, if only for the day. We took the train, which was much more expensive and time consuming than I thought it would be, but still more comfortable than the bus. Maybe next time we'll fly!

Naethan was a little shy at first, but it didn't take him too long to warm up to us. Here he is with my sister.

My sister rented a bounce-house, which was the highlight of the party for sure!
