Miss Meina

It's not often I get to work with musicians, but I'm always happy when I do. I love the dynamic energy captured during a performance, but I also love the contemplative nature of the artist in between shows. Miss Meina is a Syracuse hip-hop artist I got to meet at an Open Mic Night my husband was playing at. We've since become friends and I've worked with her on more than one occasion, whether it be for promotional material, a showcase she put together, or opening for the legendary Slick Rick at the Wescott Theater. We met up again in late August for another shoot; this one a little more introspective than the last.
