September Wedding at the August Lodge

 On this particular day in September, the weather saw fit to be completely uncooperative and downpours occured all morning and early afternoon. But did we let the dampness dampen our spirits? No we did not! We simply made everything happen indoors and went outside for a few shots in between showers.

                                                       Here is our lovely bride.

                                                    And the handsome groom, who I caught a little off-guard!

Our bride and her father wait for the first look. We did a first look with her father as well as with the groom.

                                                     Beautiful brooch bouquets, made by the bride herself!

                                                     And some stunning blue shoes!

After the first look, we did some formals in the lodge lobby.

And we braved the outdoors briefly for this Street-Fighter pose!

 

The bride's brother sang for her walk down the aisle.

 

 

 

The decor for the banquet table was also proveded by the caterer, L.M. Townsend, out of Cooperstown, NY. I've never seen a more beautiful dinner spread at a wedding!

     We had some lively and entertaining father/daughter and mother/son dances to get the party started!

                                         And a just as lively mother and son dance too!

                                                                      Nice moves!

                       As you can see, there was a baseball theme running throughout the evening!

After dinner, the sun finally came out, and right at the perfect time too, to light up those clouds and gives us a gorgeous backdrop!

                                         That's some romance novel cover material right there!
