Butch + Jodie

What a beautiful day for a wedding! On July 2nd, the sun was shining, a breeze was blowing, and Butch and Jodie were getting ready to celebrate their big day! I couldn't believe how many people were helping to make everything come together; friends and family spent the morning in the kitchen making salads and appetizers to go with the Brooks BBQ that would be served at the reception. The couple's friends, David and Robert, provided the venue at their own home. David also hand-made the beautiful grapevine arch that Jodie and Butch were married in front of. Jodie's maid of honor Marsha, sister-in-law Kaitlyn, bridesmaid Tracy and Jodie all made the girls bouquets, and Marsha and Kaitlyn made Jodie's bouquet.
The ceremony was a beautiful outdoor event with a shabby-chic flair that was fun to photograph! Pastor Paul Messner was a very engaging and genial officiant and you could see the close relationship he had with Butch and Jodie and their families. During the reception, DJ Patrick M. del Rosario kept the party going with games and music throughout the night. Everybody had a great time, and I feel lucky that I got to capture the day for Butch and Jodie! Congratulations to both of you!
