Rob + Rainy

Rob and Rainy share a story that spans years (and miles!) They went to the same junior high and high school in Queens, NY. Although they had no classes together, they knew of each other; Rainy thought Rob had a nice smile, and Rob had a crush on Rainy. Despite an astounding number of coincidences and mutual friends, they never dated, and Rainy moved to North Carolina when she was seventeen. Jump ahead to their 30th high school reunion where they struck up a friendship and continued communicating through facebook; even though hundreds of miles were between them, they decided to start a relationship a few years later. There were some long commutes and meet-ups along the way; they attended their 35th reunion together to everyone's surprise. Rainy made the decision to move back to New York and they've been together since. On June 25, 2016, they were married at Keith Clark Park in Sidney. I've seen a lot of happy brides, but I don't think I've ever met anyone so happy to be married as Rainy! Not only was she radiant at her wedding, but in all the weeks leading up to the big day! I'm very happy that I was able to document the day for both of them!

Rainy was very determined to make sure that her vendors were local; the majority (myself included!) are right here in Sidney.
