Eric + LeeAnne--A Beautiful Day at Beardslee Castle

In late September, I had the pleasure of photographing LeeAnne and Eric's wedding in Little Falls. Earlier on in the day, I met with LeeAnne, who was getting ready at the gorgeous Overlook Mansion. I enjoyed taking pictures of the details and wedding day preparation in such a pretty space. There was even a suit of armor! The wedding itself took place at the also amazing Beardslee Castle. Eric and LeeAnne shared a First Look in front of the castle, and after some formals, they headed straight into cocktail hour before the wedding, which afforded me plenty of time to capture all of the lovely details that LeeAnne had put together for the reception! There was a lovely dessert table with desserts prepared by LeeAnne's sister and mother, decorated with Willow Tree figurines, and each centerpiece for the tables was different and fanciful. All of the pieces were collected by LeeAnne from antique and thrift stores, and included vintage silver and doilies, among other things. Everything was so beautiful and elegant, and added to the charm and fantasy feeling of the evening. Eric and LeeAnne had been together for over 18 years and had two sons together before finally getting married this Fall! Their sons walked LeeAnne down the aisle, and there was a very sweet moment after the ceremony where Adrian cried tears of joy. I had a blast working with LeeAnne; she is so much fun and full of life, and loves to laugh! She's probably laughing in the most of the pictures I took that day! And it was the first wedding I've ever been to where a comedian provided entertainment at the reception. We all had fun laughing at Dan Smith's jokes that evening! All in all, you could tell that everybody had a wonderful time, including myself, who was treated to a sit down delicious family-style dinner that was catered by Beardslee Castle.
