Mylo + Michelle

Mylo and Michelle had been together and raised their children together for 17 years when they finally made their relationship official at the River Club of Afton last August! The close bond between the entire family was evident and I loved every minute of the beautiful and joy-filled day.  I arrived early with plenty of time (and beautiful natural lighting!) to photograph the lovely details. Michelle decorated the venue herself with the centerpieces she put together. The stones in the centerpieces held a special meaning for her and Mylo. Every summer, they spend time at Brennan Beach at Lake Ontario. She collected all of the pretty white stones that were used in the bottles. They also used stones from Brennan Beach for another unique idea; instead of a guestbook, guests were invited to sign stones! I've seen a lot of things used in lieu of a guestbook, but this was a first for me and I absolutely loved it! The day was overcast (which is actually perfect for photos!) but the sun did peek out at times during the ceremony, giving a glow to some special moments. After the ceremony, we took a few photos at the River Club, and then made our way to Foster Park right down the street for some beautiful views of the river and some nice scenery in the park itself. The reception was a blast, with music from United Sound keeping the party going throughout the night. I feel lucky to have met you and take a part in your special day, Michelle and Mylo! Congratulations!
